Before AIIPO, our founder spent years in patent research and IP portfolio management at a European automotive engineering firm — deep inside the machinery of enterprise innovation, where breakthrough engineering met the slow, fragmented reality of intellectual property work.
The pattern repeated on every project: brilliant inventions waiting weeks in sequential queues. Disclosures lost between engineering and legal. Prior art searches bottlenecked by translation. And most dangerously — critical competitor filings hidden in Chinese, Japanese, and Korean patent documents that took weeks and significant cost to translate, if they were found at all.
When large language models made it possible to read, structure, and reason over patent language at scale — in any language — the path became obvious.
